Karim,

I have been following your photos for quite a while, (before this blog) and wanted to tell you that you are an unbelievably talented photojournalist, and one of my heros.

Just being in the 'right place at the right time' is such a small part of it all, compared to having the moral fortitude to stay in Iraq; To wake up every morning and just document the world around you, never knowing if things will be any better.

I don't know how proficient your english is, but hopefully even if you can't read this you know that you are touching the hearts of Americans, and all people world-wide.

Mister Kadim,
Last saturday,I saw one of yours photographies in Le Monde. I was completly distraught by grief in front of this young man falling in distress. He is for me the Algerian "mater dolorosa"'s son . Thank you very much very . Excuse me for my very bad english
